Festival Activities

Each year, over 20,000 attendees gather at Heritage Sandy Springs Museum and Park and the surrounding city streets for two days of family-friendly fun. This celebrated community tradition has something for everyone.

Arts District

(Artist Market)
The Artist Market in partnership with Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, has attracted and many juried artists such as, Kathryn Nidy and Kenny Hoff. Original artisans create in a variety of media including painting, clay, sculpture, jewelry, photography, woodworking, printmaking, and more.

Business District

Stroll through booths of local businesses organizations to learn more about their services, sample their offerings, and enter to win prizes.

Children’s District

Kids will have a blast with bungee and a rock wall, inflatable games, slides, and the traditional bouncy houses, Spring-free Trampolines, giant bubbles, face paint, and sand art. Some activities are ticketed.

Civic & Cultural District

Stroll through booths of local civic and cultural organizations to learn more about their services. Cultural district stage to feature theater and cultural entertainment.

City District

The City Zone introduces citizens to our Police, Fire, Hospitality & Tourism, and Recreation departments. Kids will delight in exploring emergency service vehicles!

Food District

The Food Court includes a variety of options from local vendors and food trucks, from salty to sweet. Specialty treats will also be spread throughout the festival grounds.

Entertainment District

The Main Stage features a variety of professional bands on Saturday, and Sunday’s Battle of the Bands highlights local amateur acts.

Historic District

Visit the HSS Museum to learn about the history of Sandy Springs, view an art exhibit, and see demonstrations by heritage artisans crafters and performers.

Pet Parade

A tradition since 1987, the Pet Parade features pets of all shapes and sizes, sporting creative and crazy costumes. Prizes awarded in a variety of categories! Learn more here.

Chalk Walk

Presented by Art Sandy Springs, the Chalk Walk is an annual art competition with cash prizes for individual or team artists.

Battle of the Bands

Debuting in 2017, the Battle of the Bands gives local amateur acts a chance to showcase their skills and win prizes. Congrats to No Solution on their back-to-back wins!

Sandy Springs Wine Festival

Enjoy complimentary wine and craft beer tastings, games, and fun wine-themed activities. Tickets include: Souvenir Wine Festival Tasting Glass, Wine and Craft Beer Tastings, DJ and Live Music Performances.

Debuting in 2018, this area celebrates our city’s diversity by highlighting a variety of ethnic art, cuisine, and performances representing a wide variety of different cultures.

Children will delight in special activities like inflatables, classic rides, hands-on crafts, face painting, petting zoo, pony rides, and more. Some activities are ticketed.
