This annual series of free outdoor concerts is held one Sunday evening a month during the summer. Under the direction of our team at Heritage Sandy Springs, you can help us set the stage for this popular community event! We will need energetic volunteers to be the face of Heritage Sandy Springs – greeting attendees, selling beverages, collecting donations, directing parking, etc.

A celebration of local bands and local beers! Taking place in the Spring, Rhythm & Brews invites a fun audience to sample neighboring breweries and listen to unforgettable performances of a variety of genres. This enjoyable event is a wonderful way to bring people together and foster community engagement. Rhythm and Brews volunteers must be 18+; servers must be 21+. Come join the Brew Crew!

A tradition since 1984, the Sandy Springs Festival weekend is kicked off by a 5K/10K race and followed by live entertainment, any kind of art imaginable, delicious food, and the annual pet parade! We need great support from our volunteers to lend a hand in making this year’s festival one to remember. Come dedicate your time to support the Heritage Sandy Springs and help energize our community!

These are Sunday evening concerts, November-February, where meeting new faces and listening to top musical talents right in the heart of Sandy Springs brings the community together. Join the excitement and help us preserve the arts! Volunteers are needed to sell tickets at the gate and provide hospitality to guests.

Our museum plays a huge role in preserving the history of Sandy Springs. We have many volunteer opportunities for those who are true history enthusiasts! Explore and document local history by volunteering with Historic Research, working with Museum Collections, or by lending a hand with our Oral History Program. Volunteers can also help out by becoming a Tour Docent (training is provided).

Volunteers are stationed at the HSS information booth, where they sell water and lemonade to patrons and also answer questions.
