On November 23 , join us for a Thanksgiving Hike through Island Ford!
While this trail is not a mountain trail there are some moderate slopes, rocky terrain, and narrow areas which give this trail just enough variety to make it fun, challenging, and rewarding. Additionally, the views of the Chattahoochee River, nature, and wildlife are amazing on this section of trail. For this hike, we will start at the first parking lot on the left and hike in the shape of a lollipop to complete our 3-mile hike. Beginners are welcome as this is an easy hike which allows us the opportunity to chat as we walk, as well as get an energizing morning exercise!
Please remember to bring $3 cash for parking and park in the first lot on the left.
Advanced registration is highly recommended.
